Regarding Lives Lost
There two weather related deaths reported:
1. Pinki Devi (52) slipped and fell into the Manuni Khud too during her morning walk in Kangra. The riverbank was very slippery from the rain.
2. Vipin Kumar (45) of Rajana village in Indora tehsil bitten by a snake. The snake entered the house from the waterlogged fields nearby.

The worst of the landslides occurred early Tuesday morning when a major slide near Kangra blocked the National Highway, leaving hundreds of vehicles stranded.
